Harry R ***, 65, of *** TX, passed away from complications resulting from a stroke on Saturday, 12/29/07, in San Antonio where he was visiting long-time friends Roy and Robin ***. Harry is survived by his mother, aunt, and many friends. Harry was a long-time member and past commodore of the Beaumont Yacht Club. He served in the US Army in Vietnam and was retired from Dictaphone Corp.
Harry loved dogs, boats, the Neches River, Budweiser, steak and macaroni and cheese, shrimp, and good friends. Although he had few blood relatives he had a large extended family of people who knew him as Uncle Harry. He was a good friend and he will be missed.

The day before his stroke and the resulting fall Harry had a wonderful Christmas at my home with my family. My best memory of the day is of sitting in the front yard with him and watching Hannah play with her new toys. We were all very happy at that moment.
