July in Review

July was such a busy month that I did a poor job of updating the blog. Here are some of the highlights.

Hannah spent some time swinging in the back yard with her friend Meadow (when it wasn't raining)


She also played with her friend Meredith at the park between rainy days.


She went swimming with some friends. (She was not happy to be out of the pool, either!)


Uncle Brian brought Hannah maracas from Mexico. (Water jugs make a good drum with maracas)


And Grandma and Grandpa brought a hammock to swing in.


We went to the lake with Grandma.


There were ducks at the lake!


And Grandma fed Hannah apples.


Hannah also played Smackdown with Isai


Stacia and Taryn came to visit (with Kennedy and Grace.)




If Grace can go up a slide backwards, so can Hannah!


It was a nice visit, we all took time to stop and smell the roses.


We all went to Sea World




And watched some really funny shows - before it started raining!

Angela and the Trail of Lights

Hannah had another visitor yesterday and today, my friend Angela came to see us. We had a nice visit yesterday and dinner at Chick Fil A (yum). Then we went out to the Trail of Lights without a camera. Bad mom! Hannah loved looking at all the lights. Angela and I enjoyed the lights, the people, and getting some disguised exercise.

We came home and tried to watch White Christmas, but I guess we are getting old because we were too sleepy.

Hannah's cold is still hanging on but seems like it may be a little better today. We are about to go to the doctor to make sure there is no infection. She is still sneezing a lot and has a bunch of snot, but her breathing seems easier. We decided to postpone shots till next month to make sure she is 100%.

Last night Hannah started pushing up on her arms. She can get really high and kicks her legs a lot. I will not be surprised to see some army crawling around her early in 2007! She really wants to go!

Hopfully I can add some pictures of Hannah and Angela to this later tonight.

***************UPDATE************************

Hannah went to the doctor this morning and has no infection, just a cold. Her lungs are clear and ears look fine. Now we are just watching for fever or an ear infection. Dr Collins said that colds in babies usually last about 10 days and day 3 or 4 is the peak. We are hoping for more like a week to be good and healthy on Christmas! Also we got a weight check (no height check) and Hannah weighs 15lb 4oz!!

Angela just left so it's just Isai, Hannah, and me hanging out at home. Pete is working late a lot right now so it will probably just be Hannah and me tonight. So maybe we will watch a movie. Not much excitment going on!
