The case of the half lit Christmas tree
When we put our tree up the top 12 or so inches wouldn't come on. Then one day it was on! Yay!
A few days later the middle section was out, but then it came back on. Yay!
Since then the top and middle have rotated, sometimes on, sometimes off, sometimes at the same time, sometimes opposite. It's crazy.

Oh how funny! Half off our tree blinks but the other half doesn't! I don't get these Christmas lights. They're crazy!
